Sambhavna- A Joyful Learning program is our flagship model since 2017. This education initiative makes learning joyful and inclusive through experiential methods that blend creativity, critical thinking, and values. It seeks to improve school academic outcomes and life prospects for students through an year long engagement in schools. The programs strengthen foundational literacy and numeracy, build constitutional and social awareness, and nurture value-based thinking through art, music, and storytelling. By integrating experiential approaches into different subjects Sambhavna program helps students connect classroom learning with real-life experiences. Simultaneously, teacher engagement ensures that these practices are sustained within schools, fostering a holistic and empowering learning environment for all children.
Harsh, a bright but mischievous Grade 8 student, regularly left school after lunch and showed little interest in attending classes. Despite several attempts to counsel him, his behavior continued. However, through consistent encouragement and patience, he eventually agreed to sit in class. That small step marked the beginning of a remarkable transformation. As Harsh started participating in lessons, he developed a genuine interest in learning and soon became a regular attendee. More importantly, he emerged as a leader among his peers—encouraging classmates to stay in school, participate in class, and take their studies seriously. Today, Harsh actively asks questions, engages in learning, and inspires others to do the same. His journey highlights how persistence, trust, and timely support can transform a disengaged student into a confident learner and role model
Kajal, a Grade 6 student, struggled with even basic reading and writing skills. When I first asked her to read from a book, I noticed that she had difficulty recognizing letters and pronouncing words. As a result, she remained quiet in class, often afraid of being asked to read aloud. With consistent encouragement and individual support, I helped her practice letter recognition, pronunciation, and reading simple words. Gradually, Kajal began making an effort on her own and started reading sentences by joining letters together. Over time, her progress became visible not only in her reading skills but also in her confidence. Today, Kajal actively participates in class, reads aloud in front of her peers, and expresses herself without hesitation. Watching her grow from a hesitant learner into a confident student has been deeply rewarding
Prince, a Grade 5 student, found traditional classroom learning boring and often disrupted lessons. A conversation revealed that he avoided participating because classmates laughed whenever he asked questions, leaving him hesitant and disconnected from learning. Recognizing this, the facilitator created a supportive environment where Prince felt safe to ask questions and introduced activity-based learning that matched his interests. Gradually, his confidence grew, and he became more engaged in class. Today, Prince is one of the most active students, confidently asking questions, sharing ideas, and helping his peers learn. His journey shows how understanding a child’s needs and creating a safe learning space can transform their learning experience.
